Shenanigans
Whaaa, what a week. I don’t know what it is but this semester at uni has been pretty great thus far. What has astounded me however is the speed in which we’ve ratified the slapbet and yonk process into our inner group workings. I don’t really have alot to report in this blog entry but I’m sure I’ll make it long and drawn out.
Firstly, I’ve added a new page to the blog, the ‘slapbet memoirs’ page — I figured it’d be nice to have a record of the slapbets that we’ve had with each other and who is basically sitting out on top. The person that has dealt out the most slaps at the end of the semester will be the winner of the our little challenge and will get some sort of bottle of spirits. That and they would have slapped a bunch of people in the process. On to other challenges, I don’t know too much about how this one arose but apparently we’re to take the piss out of our Databases lecturer (the most boring lecturer this semester) by addressing him and including the question “What’s the BIG issue?” because apparently he looks like a bum that hands out the Big Issue (magazine that some bums/unemployed hand out around the city).
So that’s that.. on the challenges front. I just created a ‘Active Slapbet’ subsection to the Slapbet memoirs page.. hurraa.
One query that I have right now with myself is if I should change my Japanese class from Tuesday 5-7 to Monday 2-4; it would basically mean I haven’t got a day off on Monday but would mean I get to go to the guild bar in my break with the guys. It’s a tough decision as Tuesday is already jam packed as it is and it would kinda be nice to have a 2 hour break in there. Plus as it stands on Mondays I just sleep in and do jack all that day anyway, so having to go to uni on that day means I’ve gotta get up which will lead to me doing more work.
Anywho, I think I’ll leave it at that tonight.
