About

Not one of my better pictures, but a picture all the same!
What can I really say? some times I’m modest, sometimes not so much. I’m a dreamer, learner and do-er.
I was born in Sydney, Australia and lasted around 5 years before moving north to the Gold Coast / Brisbane area (smack bang in the middle), it was here where I have lived out the majority of my life. I’ve attended such schools as Coolnwynpin State School (up until grade 4), Windaroo State School and Windaroo Valley State High School after I had finished my secondary education I went onto tertiary education and studied at Queensland University of Technology for a whopping 5 years.
I started out as a Bachelor of Arts student but took advantages of increased amount of electives they had given us to study Information Technology; I majored in International and Global Studies and Japanese and I graduated at the end of 2009. To further my education and understanding of the world, I went to Japan to study at Kansai Gaidai for 9 months starting from August of 2009. I technically graduated from my university and subsequently leapt into my Bachelor of Information Technology to continue studying in Japan until late May of 2010 where I then spent a further 2 months travelling around South East Asia.
Upon my return to Australia in August 2010, I resumed my studies as an IT student, focusing myself towards a future in networking and to a lesser degree programming. I spent the summer in the United Kingdom on holiday with my girlfriend and friends I had made in Japan, and after returning to Australia I continued to study in earnest to become apart of the industry I had been so passionately gearing myself towards. I graduated my Bachelor of Information Technology at the end of 2011 with an astoundingly good GPA of 6.733 on a 7 point scale and yes, I am bragging on the Internet about it.
My charm, wits and undoubtedly good looks secured my position in a global IT services company in Brisbane as apart of their long running graduate program. I enjoy everyday I work and revel in the fascinating art that is Information Technology, in my spare time I relax with my girlfriend enjoying what I can only describe as money and occasionally I pick up a book and study my way to a new networking related certification. The next cert on my hitlist is the Cisco Certified Network Professional certification that I endevour to attain before April 2012.
