Well damn
So it’s been a while. I’ve been busy, give me a break. For starters, on Thursday I had my wisdom teeth removed. Yeah, that’s right — all four wisdom teeth taken out. I guess I’m happy that I never have to go through it again, yeahh suure, and that I didn’t suffer any nerve damage (which does happen albeit not so often).
But yeah, wisdom teeth gone.. it hurts and my face is swollen. I look like Buzz Lightyear I’ve been told and I have to agree. So yeah, do I have a story to tell? I suppose I do but can’t be bothered to tell it.
So onto updates.
Since last blog entry a little bit has happened, I’ve done a few assignments and sat a few tests.. feel happy about those, kinda. I have also been getting up at like 7am to get my arse over to uni each day, I don’t know what is up with that I’m enjoying doing it. I get there and just work on whatever assignments or whatever I have to do.. then someone else will turn up and we’ll end up playing games on Kongregate for the rest of the day.. mmm and Japanese as usual was a biatch to do but I did it anyway because hey, what choice do I have?
In that area or at least sorta; Japan.. me and Jace have less than a week left to wait until we can get a good idea on whether or not we’ll be going to Kansai Gaidai and if it’s not Kansai Gaidai it’ll have to be another university. We’re told that a few more are becoming available (to apply to) so if KG is a no go we may end up with something better. But I must admit, we both have our hearts set on Kansai Gaidai.. Jace has already drawn out a map on Google Earth detailing how to get to the campus from the dorms on bike for Christ Sakes.. so we gotta get it, it’s meant to be.
Oh, Finlay.. new 2IC at work — she’s quite the character although I’m not quite sure what to make of her. I find her a little bit annoying atm, but I think that’s due to the fact that she could be super conniving.. it’s either that or she’s just a lucky stupid person.
Computer instally freshness -
So I decided to finally revamp my computer software wise.. that means a total hard drive erase with alot of partitioning with the idea of introducing a second OS later on (once it’s delivered). I don’t know, but I like new fresh and clean.. so I’ve got 4 logical drives now, one for Windows, one for ready for ubuntu, one for Program Files and one for Everything else.
The plan is to have the one of Everything else to run on FAT32 which works seamlessly with both platforms so I can hopefully get some integration going later on. An entire 15GB partition devoted to Program Files because Anthony is hooking me up with some super Adobe set and the latest MS Office Suite, then I’ll be adding on Visual Studio 2005 and some other programs and I’ll see what space I have left. It wasn’t until recently that I found out that Adobe bought out Macromedia so I was surprised, what’s even more surprising is that the super mega Adobe set is around 9GB or something so you can see how the 15GB is necessary.
I think that’s all from me. Due to the entire wisdom teeth extraction thing I get to have the entire weekend off work and I’ve been eating ice cream alot (the good stuff — cookies and cream) so I’m going to live it up and relax.
Bye bye.
Ohh and I’ve also been thinking about using pictures in my blogs.
Yes, thinking; so it may not actually happen.. ever.
